The Brief

Using our brand guidelines and the tagline “a dose of good feelings,” mock up a design for fun merch that could surprise and delight our DTC customers. This could be anything you’d be excited to receive in your next Mother Root delivery (such as a drinks coaster, tote bag, matchbook, hat or…something different).

The Creative

An aromatic candle to set a relaxing vibe for enjoying a drink inspired by Mother Root flavours such as ginger, citrus, honey.

It‘s about layering the senses and creating a perfect, subversive and multi-sensory experience that will be paired with the flavours of Mother Root.

A minimalist glass brown jar aligns with Mother Roots’ brand aesthetic and incorporating the tagline “This Candle Smells Like a Dose of Good Feelings” is also a take and a nod to the infamous and fun GOOP ‘This smells like...’ candle.

The candle giveaways can be singular or a set of three mini candles with different flavours.
